As the warmth of spring arrives, Pinwheel Gardens will be sprouting up across Medina County – a symbol of our shared vision to break the cycle of abuse and build resilient families. This April, in observance of Child Abuse Prevention Month, we invite you to participate in a community-wide effort to support Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention.
Pinwheel Gardens: A Powerful Symbol for Change
The blue pinwheel is a national symbol of Child Abuse Prevention, representing the carefree and joyful childhoods we want for every child. By planting a Pinwheel Garden, you are supporting local Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention while enhancing a community-wide conversation about protecting children and strengthening families.
How You Can Get Involved: Pinwheel Garden Sponsorship
Join us in supporting Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention in Medina County by sponsoring a Pinwheel Garden.
With a $100 sponsorship, you will receive:
- One dozen blue pinwheels
- A yard sign to show your support for Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention
This project is a key part of our efforts to engage the community in raising awareness, encouraging action, and creating lasting change for children and families in Medina County. Pinwheel Gardens in public spaces are powerful reminders that every child deserves to be safe, loved, and protected.
